22nd Century Technologies, Inc. was awarded a $1.0 Billion - indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to support the discovery, design, and implementation of future Army Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) information technology (IT) software/application development efforts. This contract has a base period of 10 years with an option for six additional years. All acquisitions under this contract shall be executed through contract delivery order(s) to one or more of the thirteen companies named on the award. 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. is one of the 2 small companies on this list.

22nd Century Technologies was recently awarded the General Service Administration's (GSA's) 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), a procurement vehicle designed to promote small business utilization when purchasing IT services for the federal government. The 8(a) STARS II program is reserved exclusively for qualifying certified 8(a) small business concerns as the prime contractors and includes a 5-year base with one five-year option and a $10 billion program ceiling.
